Explanation of the Difference Between Salvage and Re-built Salvage Cars There is some confusion with many of our customers regarding salvage and re-built salvage cars. Some customers are getting turned down on bank loans because they are mistakenly referring to our cars as "salvage" vehicles. When you talk to your bank, please be sure to tell them that the car you are buying is a "re-built salvage" vehicle. The cars have salvage titles when we buy them from the insurance companies. After they are repaired by us and then inspected by the State Highway Patrol, the titles are converted to re-built salvage status. There is a big difference. A person cannot get license plates or insurance on a salvage title car but he/she can with a "re-built salvage" vehicle.. Feel
